ART ACCESS Explores Yeo Workshop
“Emptiness can be expressed by ‘fullness’ if the right method is used.” - Liang Quan
Emptiness is a concept at the heart of traditional Chinese landscape painting. It allows for the intermediate spaces between objects to become eloquent and aesthetically significant.
Participants will be taken on a gallery tour to 'Please Talk To Me' , a group exhibition of 7 artists presented by Yeo Workshop. We will explore ideas behind seemingly quiet, inanimate artworks. This will be followed by paper-making and collage exercise drawing on Liang Quan's artwork - Untitled No. 2, 2013 - led by artist Khairullah Rahim.
FEE: This workshop is open to ADULTS ONLY. Donations will be collected at the door.
REQUIREMENTS: The workshop is open to art enthusiasts of all experiences.
Participants are encouraged to dress casually. You might leave with a paint stain or two!
